On 16 March 2013, a second training on referrals was given by Prof. Dr. Dr. Radlanski at ADENTICS. The event was just as successful and popular as the last one also offered to dentists, speech therapists and ENT physicians.

Mr. Bittner spoke about 3D - planning and - treatment on the lingual technique.

Mr. Bittner and Dr. Müller-Hartwich congratulate Dental Association president Dr. Schmiedel and Vice President Dr. Dreyer. A gala dinner was held with an exciting exchange amongcolleagues from various areas of dentistry.

Prof. Radlanski showed ADENTICS staff and physicians how to properly analyse lateral cephalograms as part of their ongoing internal training.

ADENTICS visits the Forestadent Company in Stuttgart: During a site visit our ADENTICS teams got insight into the manufacturing of brackets and screws at this big company located in Pforzheim. In addition, the trip was used to train our teams on how to continue servicing our patients. The ADENTICS concept: "The patient is the center of our work."

We saddend by the loss of our longtime team member Miss Dorothea Hagedorn, who died suddenly from terminal illness. Our deepest sympathy goes to her family and loved ones.

It was exactly ten years ago when the last Congress of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO) met in Germany. During the 2002 Congress, Dirk Wiechmann presented to the public for the first time his revolutionary Incognito ® system, which has now reached worldwide recognition.

Now the ESLO is back again! ESLO President Thomas Drechsler invites the 10th ESLO Congress back to Germany from 28 June to 1 July, 2012. This time the venue is in Frankfurt am Main. Keynote speaker Dirk Wiechmann will introduce the latest developments in the lingual technique. In addition to our renowned German speakers such as Esfandiar Modjahedpour, Björn Ludwig, Benedict Wilmes and lingual expert Woo-Ttum Bittner,, there will be other guest speakers from around the world, including Didier Fillion, Guiseppe Scuzzo, Alain Decker, Kyoto Takemoto, Ryuzo Fukawa, Toshiaki Hiro and Cheol-Ho Paik, to name just a few. It will be an exceptional, interesting and exciting program that will look at current medical science innovations.

Of course we can not forget the social part of the ESLO 2012. There are exclusive venues to visit such as the historic Thun & Taxis Palais (www.palais-frankfurt.com) located in the middle of the shopping district of Frankfurt with its newly renovated designer ballroom. A welcome reception for the Lingual Society will be held on the terrace rooftops of the banking metropolis of the chic Congress Hotel (part of the luxurious Jumeirah hotels) with breathtaking views of the unique skyline. A gala dinner will end the conference in the halls of the famous Senkenberg Natural History Museum. Participants will find themselves speechless as they dine in the same room with a Tyrannosaurus Rex and other dinosaurs dating back 70 million years ago.

"Lingual is Wonderful", is the theme of this year's European Lingual Congress. The President of the German Society of Lingual Orthodontics (DGLO at www.dglo.org) joined with the President of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO at www.eslo-info.org) to examine this rare ELSO occasion in Germany that should not be missed!

Returnees: We are pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Gittner’s has returned after he recently successfully passed his training as a specialist in orthodontics with Dr. Jost-Brinkmann at the Charité. He will be returning to the our Lichtenrade location where he has worked since 2009.

Addition We are also proud to announce that Dr. Katharina Schubert has joined our ADENTICS team and will provide services at our locations in Berlin- Mitte and Lichtenrade.

Training: Dentists Theresa Rießelmann and Wilm Zunkel will begin their training in orthodontics at ADENTICS.

Lecture: Lingual, 20 Jan. 2012, DGLO in Stuttgart
During the annual meeting of the German Society of Lingual Orthodontics (DGLO) in Stuttgart, Mr. Woo-Ttum Bittner gave a presentation on giving treatment using SureSmile ® QT in 2012. His presentation of the technical innovations and treatment results have resonated among colleagues by encouraging them to work with the SureSmile ® system.

Dr. Ralf Müller-Hartwich Honored As past president of the German Society of Lingual Orthodontics (DGLO) Dr. Ralf Müller-Hartwich was honored at its annual conference in Stuttgart.

Lecture: Simulated Insertion of Orthodontic Mini-Implants, Training Day at the Charité on 14 Jan. 2012
As part of the training day, Dr. Ralf Müller-Hartwich introduced around 100 orthodontists and dentists before the study results were released on the use of mini implants that are used for anchoring orthodontic appliances.

In cooperation with the Charité University of Medicine in Berlin, we have been collecting scientific information about our treatments. With great success we have completed a current study on the compatibility of fixed braces. The study involved determining what types of braces patients are most comfortable with. Those participants in the study recorded their experiences with fixed braces for a period of one week using a questionnaire.
