Altering the sleeping position
Breathing breaks during sleep arise frequently from position-dependence and especially when lying on the back (supine position). In easy cases, a change from the supine sleeping position can result in an improvement. The number of breathing breaks easily decrease.
Raising the head by sleeping with 3-4 pillows does not lead to a crucial improvement with the more pronounced forms of obstructive sleep apnoea. Using tennis balls to regulate the sleeping position is usually not a promising method.
