Self-ligating Brackets

Self-ligating brackets do not need additional rubber or metal ligatures for merging the wires. The friction is substantially reduced during the tooth movement and leads to less pain and a faster tooth movement. This form of bracket is the newest development in the range of firmly-bonded treatment technology. We use Clarity SL or Damon3 Brackets, as these represent a good compromise between aesthetics and functionality.

Aestethic

We use Quickclear Brackets from the company Forestadent, the ceramic basis and the little metal clips combine aesthetic and function.

Less pain

About 10-15 % quicker treatment

Especially in the initial phase, self-ligating brackets with their low friction are slightly quicker in certain bad tooth positions.
