Tooth Whitening
White radiant teeth are an important characteristic of a beautiful smile and are noticed as an indication of good health.
With modern tooth clarification systems it is possible to brighten teeth up carefully to the desired colour. For that purpose, a gum mask is first laid on and then a gel is painted on the teeth. This gel is activated by a special lamp and this procedure is repeated until the desired colour is reached. Since there could be increased tooth sensitivity during brightening up, the treatment may take several meetings before it is finished.
After removing the gel and the gum mask, a sealant is put on the teeth which makes the clarification more durable and protects the teeth against fast discoloration. Tooth clarification can be carried after a treatment with a fixed brace, and also before an important date like a wedding or a class meeting.
