Cortical screws are mini implants which are put into the jaw in a defined place and help individual teeth to be moved, avoiding uncomfortable treatment such as external braces.
They are screwed into the jaw bone and removed after the treatment is completed. Apart from the pain-killing injection used for the insertion, the use of mini screws is completely pain-free.
