Self-ligating brackets do not need additional rubber or metal ligatures for merging the wires. The friction is substantially reduced during the tooth movement and leads to less pain and a faster tooth movement. This form of bracket is the newest development in the range of firmly-bonded treatment technology. We use Clarity SL or Damon3 Brackets, as these represent a good compromise between aesthetics and functionality.
