What is Invisalign First?

Invisalign First works the same way as Invisalign for adults.

In addition, Invisalign First is designed specifically for children and therefore has a special feature. This method also allows the correction of anomalies in the morphology and position of the facial bones.

In this way, it directly affects their development and guarantees their correct position and the eruption of the final teeth.

Why Invisalign First?

A gentle treatment for younger patients.

Children can speak better with it and the treatment is almost invisible.

Motivation and fun while wearing the aligners.

The aligner can be pepped up with colorful stickers.

The aligner are more comfortable and hygienic

than the conventional plastic wire appliances and do not need to be adjusted weekly at home.

    When is Invisalign First used?

Already in the early mixed dentition, at the age of 6 to 10 years, when the first permanent teeth have erupted (incisors and the first molars), Invisalign First can create space for new teeth and successfully correct the first malocclusions of the permanent teeth.

This is followed by a treatment pause until all permanent teeth have fully erupted.

    Die Vorteile von Invisalign First

    The aligners

Your child will get a set of custom-made aligners, which they will wear daily and change at home. On average, every 1-2 weeks.

    Control Appointments

Progress is monitored approximately every 6-8 weeks in our office. After the treatment is completed, retainers are required to maintain your child's new smile.

    No restrictions on eating

Your child can take out his aligners for eating.

    Wearing time of the aligners

The recommended wearing time of the splints is 22 hours a day. The splints should only be removed for eating and oral hygiene.

    No change in dental hygiene

Your child takes out the aligners to brush his teeth and can carry out his oral hygiene as usual.

    Less emergency treatments

Emergency treatments occur about 80% less frequently with Invisalign treatment than with treatment with conventional braces

    Less pain and higher satisfaction

The comfort of the soft plastic aligners ensures that your child has little interference in everyday life and can play sports without fear of injury.

    Positively influences growth

Creates space for upcoming permanent teeth by developing the young jaw and / or dental arches. Potential problems can already be solved with the early treatment.
