Orthodontic treatment of young children requires age-appropriate care. Young children need time to get used to a new environment.
From anti-suck programs to removable braces - we have the right treatment options for all requirements.
We are looking forward to your visit.
Some children over the age of three years exhibit pronounced malposition of the incisors and a retraction of the lower jaw, caused by thumbsucking or pacifier use. Children who often suffer from illnesses in the upper air tracts often have an underdeveloped upper jaw. These are only two examples.
If your child has, for instance, a serious overbite, visible deviation of the lower jaw in one direction, or simply problems closing his or her lips, it generally makes sense to bring your child in to the practice by the age of 9.
If you have any questions, we are here to answer them.
We have arranged special programs for patients who suck their fingers. These programs are accomplished in stages, beginning with light exercises, and concluding with equipment installed firmly in the mouth for particularly “stubborn” patients.
